How to Celebrate Your Adult Birthday in Dallas

Running out of things to do on your birthday? Going out to dinner is fun and all but it gets old…like you! We dream of taking an exotic vacation somewhere for our birthday. However, that is not too realistic. Here's how to celebrate your adult birthday in Dallas...or any other city for that matter!

If you know us, you know we go all out for birthdays! Just call us birthday-zillas – if that is a thing. Taylor celebrated all month long with a Blogger Brunch at Vidorra and a dinner with close friends. There were multiple cakes and parties involved.

It is only fitting that we put together an itinerary to help you celebrate the big day. Check out this guide to having a memorable birthday! You only get to celebrate once a year (or twice, three times, who is counting?) enjoy it.

BIRTHDAY GUIDE

    • 10:00am - Activity 1: Option A – Attend a musical at Dallas Summer Musical. DSM produces, presents and promotes excellence in live musical theatre with year-round performances for diverse audiences of all ages. We saw the Phantom of the Opera and it was amazing.

Option B – Not into musicals? Check out your local gallery for unique art installations. In Dallas we have the Dallas Museum of Art (DMA) and several themed pop-up galleries perfect for Instagram.

1:00 pm - Brunch: For a boozy brunch in an elegant setting, head to The Mansion Restaurant. This New American restaurant offers wonderful dishes and a gorgeous enclosed patio. We had a very good vegan salad, the Texas greens, but honestly we were there for the bottomless mimosas.

3:30 pm – Activity 2: Option A - Hit the mall and walk off the mimosas. Northpark Center and the surrounding area is a great place to start.

Option B – Want more action? Book spot at Painting with a Twist or Pinot’s Palette to get the creative juices flowing. Both venues are BYOB or you can purchase wine when you arrive.

7:30 pm – Dinner: For Tex-mex that is fresh and delicious, head to Jalisco Norte. We had the vegan tacos, which were amazing!

How would you celebrate your birthday? Tell us in the comments!
