The countdown to Christmas is on and everyone has their tree up and stockings stuffed. Once Christmas is over, how will you decorate your home? Each of my place settings are designed with some element that distinguishes it from the setting next to it. It may be the charger, plate, napkin ring holder or the season greeting ornament resting in the plate center that differentiate. I pulled my table look together by having plates that were the same in color but different in shape (I did this for contrast).   

If you look closely I used a lot of holiday décor on my winter themed table. I was able to use my Christmas table as my winter theme because all the items are in gold.

Best winter decorating idea #2…you can modernize your holiday decorations by adding in metallics, rustic textures like wood and a soft element like faux fur to spice things up.
