A journal-style reintroduction from a woman in full bloom
Hey, I’m Taylor — and if you’re new here, welcome to the world of food, travel, plants, and personal transformation.
If you’ve followed me for a while, you know this blog isn’t just about pretty places and vegan food — it’s about real life. The kind that shakes you, stretches you, humbles you, and eventually shapes you into someone new.
That’s where I’ve been lately — becoming someone new.
But before we dive in, here’s a look at where we’re going:

So… where have I been?
The short answer? Living through some growing pains.
The long answer? I’ve spent the past year peeling back layers I didn’t even know were there. Letting go of people, places, and patterns I once clung to. Losing things I thought were permanent — not just in my career, but in the quiet corners of my identity.
There were days I felt invisible. Days I felt magnetic. Mornings I woke up with fire in my chest and nights I laid in bed wondering if I’d ever feel like myself again.
But I never truly lost myself — I just had to meet the version of me I hadn’t accessed yet.
I’ve cried in the club (yes, I know. I, too, am embarrassed), journaled on airplanes, prayed over meals, and had full conversations with God in the shower. Some of my hardest moments have made me softer. And some of my softest moments have made me stronger.
Now, I’m stepping into a new season and it is time to reintroduce myself — not just for new readers, but for the version of me that’s still unfolding.
Who I Am (Now)
I’m Taylor Morgan Mosley — a Dallas-born creative with a law degree, a suitcase that’s always half-zipped, and a soft spot for plant-based food, beautiful spaces, and radical honesty. You can read more on my "About Page."
I’ve been to 16 countries and over 100 cities, collecting recipes, memories, skincare secrets, and hard truths along the way. I’m a vegan foodie, a skincare nerd, and a dead plant mom. I’m the friend who’ll plan the whole itinerary, order for the table, and ask deep questions before dessert. I believe in luxury with ease, that a dinner party can be medicine, and that you don’t need to suffer to be successful — you just need to be authentic.
I write to feel connected. I post to remind you — and myself — that it’s okay to evolve in public. That you can rebuild as many times as you need to.
Welcome to Taylor 4.0
This isn’t just a rebrand.
This is a rebirth.
Taylor 4.0 is the version of me I prayed for during panic attacks and heartbreak. She is the comeback. She’s the woman I became after the unraveling.
She’s the one I imagined in moments of total isolation — when I couldn’t breathe, couldn’t see the way forward, but held on anyway. She is the comeback. And honestly? I’m just getting started.
Let me tell you about the versions that came before her.
Taylor 1.0 was built on perfectionism. She was the golden child, the one who overachieved to be loved, who mastered the art of showing up, shining, and staying silent about her own needs. She thought if she worked hard enough, looked polished enough, succeeded loudly enough — she’d be protected from pain. But she wasn’t. She was scared, lonely, and running herself into the ground.
Taylor 2.0 started to notice the cracks. She began to realize that success without self-trust was just burnout in a prettier dress. She was still saying yes to things that drained her, still dimming herself in rooms that didn’t deserve her light. But now she knew. She felt the friction. She had questions she didn’t know how to ask out loud. She was trying to hold it all together, but couldn’t ignore the misalignment anymore.
Taylor 3.0 was in recovery. She started speaking up. She started feeling. She let herself grieve what she thought her life was supposed to be. She lost things. Friends. Positions. Certainty. And through that shedding, she found the quiet whisper of her real voice. She was scared, but brave. She was figuring it out in real time. She was building the muscle of becoming — and didn’t even know it.
And now? Taylor 4.0 is here.
She is not perfect — but she’s powerful. She doesn’t strive to be liked — she strives to be real. She doesn’t chase energy — she cultivates it. She walks into every room with an aura you can feel, a softness you can’t fake, and a strength you can’t ignore.
Taylor 4.0 is made of deep emotional work, sleepless nights, spiritual reckoning, and raw reflection. She has lost things publicly and held her head high. She’s had to eat the ego, mourn illusions, and rebuild her sense of self from the ground up — again and again. She doesn’t just talk about self-worth — she fights for it.
Taylor 4.0 is for real. She’s not a fantasy or a facade. She’s flesh, spirit, emotion, ambition, grace, and grit. She’s who I became when I stopped performing and started believing.
She’s who I became when I realized I wasn’t too much — I was just meant for more.
And if you’re in the middle of your own evolution — if you’re shedding, shifting, and trying to make sense of who you’re becoming — I just want you to know: You are not behind. You are in process. And baby, that process is sacred.
We’re walking miracles — and Taylor 4.0 is living proof.
What Got Me Here
I make people feel seen. I create beauty — not just aesthetically, but emotionally. I bring comfort into rooms without even trying. I turn pain into poetry, setbacks into strategy, and reflection into fuel. I’m an energy. I’m a vibe. But I’m also a mirror — when people meet me, they meet a version of themselves they didn’t know existed. I care. And that care? It’s radiant. It’s rare. And it moves people.
Strengths I’m owning:
I connect with people in ways that go beyond surface.
I write like I talk — direct, warm, and with a little spice.
I can turn any experience into a story worth telling.
I show up with intention, even when life is messy.
I balance softness with boundaries — and people feel safe around me because of it.
What I Know About Me (and What Others Feel)
People admire me because I walk with depth. Because I’m soft without being passive. Because I own my voice. Because I know how to listen. Because I ask the uncomfortable questions and still keep the conversation warm.
People love me because I remind them it’s okay to be complicated, to be messy, to be in-between. They love me because I’m always evolving — and I give them permission to do the same. I don’t pretend to have it all figured out. But I know how to keep going. I know how to show up. I know how to write the truth before I even speak it. And I know how to hold space for other people’s becoming while honoring my own.
My biggest weakness? Yes, I have them. I overthink — deeply. I analyze tone, timing, silence. I struggle to trust — not because I don’t want to, but because I’ve had to protect myself too many times. I sometimes confuse rest with laziness and productivity with worth. I tend to take on more than I need to, to prove I can handle it all.
I’ve stayed in places too long because I believed in potential more than patterns.
And when I care, I care hard — to the point of self-abandonment, if I’m not careful.
But here’s the thing about me — I see it. I name it. I do the work. Every version of me has been willing to sit in the dark to understand the light. And that’s why you’re here reading this now.
Which version of yourself are you currently stepping into?
Learning to let go of old habits and people
Stepping into my confidence and self-worth
Still figuring it out, but I know change is coming
The Blog Redesign: A New Home for My Evolution
This blog is still home to all the things you’ve always loved — but now with more structure, clarity, and depth.
I’ve redesigned What Taylor Likes from head to toe.
After years of work behind the scenes, I rebuilt this space entirely on my own. I taught myself coding basics in 2015, refined my SEO skills this year, and used my eye for design to create a blog that finally feels like the version of me I’ve grown into.

From layout to structure to small details — it’s all been created with intention.
The homepage is completely new, designed to help you find what you need quickly and beautifully. You can now explore travel guides by country or by U.S. city and navigate lifestyle content in a more seamless, curated way.
On the U.S. Travel page, destinations are grouped by region—the South, Northeast, Midwest, West, and beyond—so you can easily pick a city and dive into my detailed guides, curated itineraries, and top recommendations. Whether you’re planning a weekend in New Orleans, a food tour in Austin, or a luxury escape in California, you’ll find insider tips, must-visit spots, and my personal experiences laid out for you.

On the International Travel page, you’ll find my guides to places I’ve explored across Mexico, Italy, Germany, the Middle East, Costa Rica, South Africa, Botswana, the Bahamas, and beyond. From vegan-friendly eats in Rome to hidden luxury gems in Cape Town, I share the best ways to experience these destinations—effortlessly and intentionally.

Whether you’re looking for a quick city escape, a long-haul adventure, or a deep-dive itinerary, these pages make it easier than ever to find exactly what you need, plan with confidence, and travel like you mean it.

You’ll also notice I have a new logo and favicon. The logo reflects the clean, elevated aesthetic I’ve stepped into — and yes, I made it myself. The favicon is that tiny image you see in the tab when this site is open in your browser. It’s a small but meaningful design element that makes the brand feel complete and recognizable — and of course, I created that too.
I used my basic graphic design skills to bring all of this together — the branding, visuals, layout, and formatting. Everything you see here, from color palettes to category icons, was done by me with love, curiosity, and hours of late-night Googling.
Here’s what’s waiting for you now:
Luxury travel guides that feel personal, curated, and entirely un-gatekept
Vegan restaurant reviews and plant-based recipes housed under What Taylor Eats
Lifestyle reflections that read like journal entries from someone who gets it
Resources on self-discovery, identity shifts, and healing in motion
Creative insights for protecting your voice, your story, and your ideas — especially for those building something of their own
And yes — I have a whole post coming soon about my bar exam experience. Not just the test, but the emotional and spiritual reckoning that came with it. If you’ve ever felt like your future was hanging in the balance — I promise, this one’s for you.
A Taste of What Taylor Eats
Food has always been a love language for me. It’s how I explore cities, connect with people, and care for myself. Over the years, What Taylor Eats has evolved into more than just restaurant reviews — it’s a whole mood, a whole experience.
What Taylor Eats is where plant-based food meets luxury, culture, and creativity.
As a vegan who travels often, I’ve had to find joy in discovering unexpected gems, from hidden vegan street food stalls in Mexico to five-star chefs in Montana who crafted plant-based menus just for me. I love showing that being vegan doesn’t mean sacrificing flavor, elegance, or fun.
And now, it finally has its own dedicated home.

I purchased WhatTaylorEats.com a year ago and I’m currently designing the new site myself — applying the same intention, aesthetic, and heart that I brought to this redesign. With so much travel content taking up space on my main blog, I knew it was time to create a separate platform to fully celebrate everything plant-based.
What Taylor Eats is now its own sister blog, fully focused on food, recipes, and lifestyle through a plant-based lens. This way, everything has room to breathe — and grow.
You can also follow along on Instagram at @whattayloreats_, where I post vegan restaurant finds, aesthetic eats, recipe ideas, and daily inspiration that blends wellness with realness.

Here, and soon on the new site, you’ll find:
Curated vegan restaurant guides for cities around the world
Original recipes that are simple, nourishing, and full of personality
Travel-inspired dishes, cocktail pairings, and food-focused itineraries
Tips on how to eat well while traveling — especially when it feels impossible
Honest reviews of spots I’ve tried so you can skip the guesswork
Just like everything else I create, this part of my brand is personal. It’s not about perfection. It’s about presence — about sharing food that feels good, tastes amazing, and connects us to culture, community, and joy.
Whether you’re vegan, vegan-ish, or just looking for your next favorite spot, What Taylor Eats is your new go-to for all things plant-based.
PR & Brand Collaborations: How What Taylor Likes Became a Six-Figure Brand
Let’s talk business.
What Taylor Likes didn’t just fund my creative passions—it helped pay for law school. At its peak, this blog was bringing in six figures, working with over 100 brands in travel, food, lifestyle, and fashion. Some of my highest-paid collaborations ranged between $6,000 to $10,000 per campaign—which meant I wasn’t just blogging for fun. I was running a real business while balancing law school and life.

I’ve partnered with major brands like J.Crew, West Elm, luxury hotels, food and beverage brands, and even film production teams for promotional content. Over the years, I had a manager and successfully completed 125+ brand campaigns, proving that a strong digital presence turns into real opportunities when done right.
Where I Stand Now: The Numbers
I currently have 16,719 followers across platforms—and that number doesn’t even include my thousands of email subscribers. These aren’t just vanity numbers; they represent an engaged audience that trusts my recommendations and actively interacts with my content.
But let me explain it in a way that anyone can understand—especially for the older generation or those new to social media marketing:
Followers: These are the people who have subscribed to my updates on Instagram, Pinterest, and other platforms. Every time I post, they see it in their feed and engage with it.
Engagement: This is how people interact with my content—likes, comments, shares, and saves. It’s a key indicator of how influential a creator really is because it measures audience connection, not just reach.
Impressions: This is the total number of times my content has been seen, whether someone follows me or not. The higher the impressions, the wider the exposure.

To put it into perspective, my Visit Dallas campaign generated:
146,560 total impressions (meaning my content was seen that many times)
3,906 direct views (people who clicked and spent time engaging)
4,417 engagements (people who actively interacted with the content)
This means that when I post, people pay attention—which is why brands continue to work with me.
Why This Matters to Brands
For companies looking to partner with influencers, metrics like these determine if a collaboration will actually drive results. On my PR Portfolio Page, you’ll find:
Detailed campaign performance reports from previous brand deals
Insights on audience reach, conversions, and engagement
Proven case studies showing how brands have benefitted from working with me
If you’re a brand considering a partnership, just know this: I don’t just post—I convert.
The State of My Social Media: A Public Roast
Now, let’s address the very obvious issue.
Despite having 16,719 followers and thousands of subscribers, I’ve been ghosting my own audience like a man who promises to text back and never does.
I have been playing the disappearing act of social media.
At one point, I was on top of my game—posting consistently, securing five-figure deals, and growing my audience like clockwork. And what did I do? Vanished like a vegan at a Texas BBQ.
But in 2025, I’m coming back for everything I built.
I’m reviving What Taylor Likes with fresh, consistent content
I’m fully launching What Taylor Eats as its own sister blog
I’m re-engaging my audience and building new partnerships
So, to my audience that stuck around despite my spontaneous digital sabbaticals, thank you. And to the brands still sitting in my inbox—yes, I see you, and yes, I’m back.
If you’re interested in collaborating, booking a campaign, or discussing partnership opportunities, head to my PR Portfolio Page and let’s make some magic.
Let’s Stay Connected
This space is for:
Big dreamers who are doing the work
Soft hearts with strong boundaries
People evolving in silence and reclaiming themselves loudly
Anyone who loves good food, beautiful aesthetics, travel therapy, and real conversation
If that sounds like you — we’re already friends. If you’ve made it this far, thank you. I don’t take your presence here lightly.

So here’s to new chapters, second (and third) chances, and learning to live slower but deeper. Here’s to being seen — not just as an influencer or a professional or a girl with good lighting — but as a human being who’s still becoming.
Thank you for growing with me.
