LUCIA

WE LOVE LUCIA. Hands down this is our favorite restaurant in Dallas. It is romantic and intimate while serving up some of the best Italian food in the city. We recommend everyone to go here because the owners are incredible and accommodating to vegans.
Warning, getting a reservation to eat here is hard! You can either 1) book 1-2 months in advance or 2) set up email notifications for the day you want to dine at Lucia. When a table becomes available they will email you.
What you should order….
The menu changes often. If the butter lettuce salad is on the menu, then GET IT! The vegan version is so flavorful...freaking love it. The bread they serve pre-dinner is vegan. They have some pasta dishes that can be made vegan. Just let your server know about your dietary restrictions.

They have two locations: one in Oak Lawn and one in North Dallas. We like the North Dallas location more.

This list wouldn’t be complete without the ultimate Dallas romantic Restaurant, Tulum. You can, literally, escape to Tulum for date night without ever leaving Dallas. The owner, Mike Karns and his wife, love to vacation in Mexican City so they brought Tulum’s sexy bohemian vibe to Dallas.
The restaurant’s decor is romantic and sexy. The gorgeous bar is surrounded by banana leaf-print wallpaper and crowned with ethereal white light fixtures. Tulum is the perfect spot for you to go when you want to pretend you're in Mexico with your date or girlfriends.
What you should order….
The vegan options we recommend are the mushroom & wild tacos. The chef is open to creating a vegan dish for you or your date that is off the menu. Just mention to your waiter that you are vegan and want the chef to whip something up.
PARIGI
Uptown
$$$ // American, Bistro
Parigi is a long-standing bistro in Uptown Dallas. Their menu changes twice a month and sources most of their food from local farmers. What I love about Parigi is that the decor is simple and classy yet romantic all at the same time. Plus, you can bring that expensive bottle of wine you have been saving (the coverage fee here is not that much).
What you should order….
This location is vegan-friendly. We ordered the trio (pesto, sundried tomato tapenade and olives with a baguette), baked garlic and stuffed acorn squash.
Pro Tip: Call 214-521-0295 to make a reservation. We bought our own bottle of sparkling rose to celebrate so we recommend that you bring something too! The trio and baked garlic are TOO GOOD. Please try it.
